Our Statement of Faith is Found in the Historic Creeds and Confessions
Our statement of faith is found in our Confessions, which includes historic creeds and confessions such as the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, and Westminster Confession of Faith. While these documents vary slightly, we primarily follow the Westminster Confession, with some differences, as a guide for church doctrine. Although we uphold these creeds, we don’t require members to agree with every statement. We encourage fellowship with Christians from other traditions, remembering Paul’s call to live with humility, patience, love, and unity (Ephesians 4:1-3).
