Leadership

Our Church is governed by a session of elders, and served by deacons.

Andre Fowlkes

Elder / Preaching Pastor

Welcome to our website, and the Grace of Christ be with you. I am married to Ania, and together we have 12 wonderful children and four grandchildren (2024). Currently, I am pastoring a church plant north of Spokane, WA. In addition to pastoring, I teach Greek II, Rhetoric, and Bible at Spokane Classical Christian School. Before I began pastoring and teaching, I served in the United States Air Force, stationed in multiple locations around the world, where I taught all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and members of foreign military services. I retired from active duty service in 2017. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching and playing sports, and savoring scotch and cigars with good friends while having great conversations.

Howdy, glad y’all stoped by. A bit about me. I have been gratefully married to my wife Courtney for a long time. We met at church college group, got married and moved to Baton Rouge, LA so I could attend LSU. After a bunch of twists and turns, we ended up back in Montana where God blessed us with three awesome children. We now live in Spokane, Serving Holy Covenant as an Elder and Music director, directing the A Capella Choir at Spokane Classical Christian School, and appraising homes in the Spokane area. Please ask me about my road to Damascus type of conversion story, and why I think my kids’ testimonies are even better.

Hey there! I’m currently serving HCC as a deacon. I’ve been married to Amy for over 33 exciting years (2024), and we have a whole lot of kids and grandkids. I’ve done a variety of things, including teaching in Classical Christian schools, farming, ranching, and flying helicopters for the USAF. I’ve also enjoyed all-expenses-paid trips to far-away lands, playing the trombone, watching football, playing tennis, and running very slowly for a long time. My focus is working with young people in our church because it’s just a lot of fun!
